  2. Well I'm glad you got something from it! Always try to stay in a place where you can maintain calm leadership with your horse.

  3. I love the below-a-5 or above-a-5 way to measure if you're ready to try something! Thanks for that! I've been working on regaining my confidence to ride in the outdoor arena which I haven't done since Dodger's spooking incident which caused me to fall in spring (sad to have missed all of summer out there). But I can say I'm down from a 9 to feeling closer to a 6 about riding out there now. I wish it didn't take so long! When I'm a 4, I'll give it another try.

  4. Michelle you may want to try a flower essence like confident horseman to help facilitate your process...

  5. I already have a bottle of Rescue Remedy that I haven't used yet because I wasn't sure how much to take. Would that work?

  6. Rescue Remedy is a good start to try and then pay attention to how you feel after taking 4 drops, You can take it every 15 minutes...If it is not enough then you can get into a more specific blend. let me know how it goes...

  7. Hi Farrah,

I like the "on a scale of 1-10 rate your fear." I am going to use that. I also like "The Emotional Freedom Technique" and I have used that for many fear related thoughts and even for a bad attitude.

I have followed your blog for about a year and I really enjoy it. Thank you for putting out so much useful information.
